If you contact us, book a call, or register interest in Monitor research, we receive the information you provide: your name, email, company, message, and appointment details where applicable. Please do not send passwords, access tokens, or customer records through website forms.

For business outreach, we may collect names, professional roles, business contact details, company information, and evidence of a relevant business need from public company websites, professional profiles, directories, job listings, or referrals. We keep the source, research notes, correspondence, and contact preferences. Public availability does not mean you have agreed to marketing.

Our hosting provider processes technical request data, such as IP addresses, for website delivery and security. We use Plausible for aggregate website analytics, including page visits and form or booking interactions. Our Plausible implementation does not use analytics cookies.

We use enquiry and appointment information to respond, assess a proposed engagement, and provide services. Our basis is legitimate interests in handling business enquiries and operating the practice, or taking steps to enter into and fulfil a contract when you are the contracting individual.

We rely on legitimate interests for relevant business prospect research and permitted business outreach, balancing the relevance of the contact against your expectations and privacy. Where electronic marketing requires consent, we must have it before contacting you. A Monitor research enquiry is used to respond about that research; it does not enrol you in a general newsletter.

We also use information to secure the website, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations. You can object to direct marketing at any time by replying or emailing us. We keep the minimum details needed to honour a do-not-contact request.

Service providers support hosting, email, appointment booking, and analytics. These include Netlify, Resend, Google Workspace, Calendly, and Plausible. We may use OpenAI tools to assist with public-source prospect research and message drafting. Outreach drafts receive human review before sending. We do not sell personal information or make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely by automation.

Providers may process information outside the UK. Where a restricted international transfer occurs, applicable safeguards are required, such as an adequacy arrangement or approved contractual protections. Contact us for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your data. Third-party booking services also publish their own privacy notices.

We retain enquiries and correspondence while dealing with your request and for as long as needed for the resulting business relationship, reasonable follow-up, or the handling of a dispute. Prospect records are kept only while there is a relevant business purpose and are reviewed for accuracy and continued relevance.

Contract and financial records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations. Suppression records may be kept longer so that an objection to outreach continues to be respected. Retention depends on the purpose, applicable obligations, and whether the information is still needed.

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy of your information. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and your right to object to direct marketing is absolute. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
